This is my first and hopefully myvlast with this place. Horrible, horrible customer service. Never return phone calls. My mothers headstone was delayed, because someone "as they never identify themselves" told me that my mothers plot was not a double that it was a single, so the headstone i ordered and had been waiting for was not going to happen. It needed to be larger for a single or smaller for a side by side... turns out that was the wrong information and i had already changed it where it was beign made at. Sooo finally corrected by a former employee ... 5 months in and they scratched it bad. Been calling for a week and no assistance at all. Rude, and very unprofessional.

When u can't properly pay your last respect to your loved ones because inconsiderate people sitting on grave eating they make parks for a reason

Really easy to find, thanks to clue on youtube videos. Right when you enter, head straight, go ahead and park once you see the big white building. Richie is on the second row across the building, do not pass the building. We did not know how to find it. But with clues from videos we looked at the surroundings. No one gave directions.
NOS OMNES SOLARIS
San Fernando Mission Cemetery located in the valley of San Fernando Los Angeles County. On the corners of Rinaldi and Sepulveda Boulevard in the city of Mission Hills California 91345. I'm innocent, enough to say that I have a very special place in my heart for this place. First of all, I want to start off by giving a little bit of History background of the cemetery. This cemetery is controlled by the Holy Roman Catholic Church and it was established in the year 1800. Which makes it one of the oldest establishments in the San Fernando Valley. The name San Fernando comes from the king of Spain in the 16th century. Also, adjacent to the cemetery is the famous San Fernando Rey de Espana mission. Just one of the 21California Spanish missions established from the mid 1700's all the way up to the early1900's. Now the reason why the cemetery is very special to me is because my grandma, Ageda Montiel-Barraza, is buried here. And so is my uncle Javier Montiel. We will miss them very much and we know that they are in a very special place now that they are gone from us.

Yes dec 14 through Jan 4 2019
I go every day, Xmas trees are still up and so are most Xmas decorations they have cleaned up the excess Xmas flowers, and they clean the old flowers every Thursday morning at least the cluttered ones.
They clean up every Thursday. So Friday before Easter
My understanding is, like every Thursday they will pick up old flowers on Thursday, thanksgiving day, then they will leave them till January 3rd, or 6th, after thanksgiving we can decorate for Christmas, so it will be up to us, to remove the old flowers, they will water in case you plan on decorating, hope this makes sense to you and helps you, if not call them, or ask the flower shop in the cemetery.
If you go there you have to knock on the door. They will come out, they will help you find who your looking for. Must wear a mask too.
They should be open and usually the cemetery closes at 5pm but since its Sunday it could be earlier
The flowers are picked up on Thursday afternoons. Except for holidays such as mothers day and Xmas which then the decorations /flowers are left on the gravesites for an extended amount of time. So when I order flowers for my sisters gravesite over there, i make sure they're delivered on Friday or Saturday so that way the flowers are there until the next Thursday afternoon.
December 15th
As far as I know it already started on December 8th but to make sure this is true I strongly suggest that you call them, go to the office and ask someone in person or go to their website for more information.
I strongly suggest that you go directly to the office of this facility and speak to someone at the front counter, call them, or go to their website for more information because this is the link for questions and answers intended for the use of the general public. Your query will not reach the cemetery's staff from here.
No, they do not allow eating.
Yes
Yes
Yes they do
Were all Christian if you think about it, I know it says Catholic, but I think all are welcome to rest there, Im Catholic so I never had to ask, hope this helps you, next step, calling them up.
Lately I have seen that you can. However, It has to be very minimal. Not too much decorations because I feel like that will draw attention for the workers to remove it. Keep in mind they clean up every Thursday morning. Unless if they decide to keep the flowers longer than a week for the day of the dead.
Yes.. But not lit... Fir saftey reasons
Stephanie I really don't know I'll be glad to give you the phone number so you can call
Depends on how often you want to go and take flowers but I believe every Thursday is when they clean and throw all the flowers that have been there.

Go to the office and ask someone at the front counter where you can find the grave you are looking for. Take a photograph of the deceased person with you if possible so you can show it to them. Good luck!
