Always make it a point (ha, see what I did there?) to stop by when I'm in the area. Typically I like to be adventurous and try new options, but at The Point I'm straight up here for the tenderloin skewers. It doesn't really get more maryland than fresh corn, tomatoes, lump crab, and beef skewers - and this meal never disappoints! For the record, I have tried other options and everything is always fresh and local where possible. Great atmosphere, gorgeous views, and delicious food. Can't go wrong!

I have eaten here more than a dozen times and I have always enjoyed the fresh and tasty foods they serve. A must order for appetizers is the crab dip and old bay chicken wings. During the summer months they offer soft shell crab sandwich which is on a brioche bun and very flavorful and a good taste of a (Maryland) cuisine. The salmon and risotto is cooked just right and very flavorful. The atmosphere holds it own and is very peaceful. It does get loud in peak times so if you want things a little quieter ask for a table outside.

I were given a gift card for my medical school graduation. It was a great date night for my wife and I! The food was amazing! My only complaint was that it was a little loud (not unbearable, just not ideal) Great atmosphere and right on the water.

Beautiful views of the river, marina, and boats. Great food, good sized portions. The seared ahi tacos were delicious, as well as the fish and chips. It was very busy the day before Easter and the wait was long, but the outdoor waiting area had plenty of seats and a great view of the water. The electronic wait-list kept us informed of our place on the list, how many people were ahead of us, etc - awesome service. The staff were very friendly even though they were very busy. Definitely a gem, but be sure to put yourself onto the Yelp wait-list to save time!

Hi former employee. Place was awesome to work at. I can answer more questions if you DM or email me.
Outdoor picnic table area. Indoor dining with ceiling and garage type doors that can open on three sides for open air when weather is nice
I'm not the owner.
Yes. The weather has been warm this summer. Typically, our local crabs are available until mid to late October.
Yes absolutely. Nice marina with plenty of space to dock the boat.
We are not a pet friendly restaurant.
Masks, social distancing, but, no indoor or outdoor dining the next 4 weeks...
They're open and masks are required.
Peak times on Friday and Saturday nights are generally between 6:45pm and 7:45pm. So, the least crowded would be before or after that hour. We hope to see you soon.
We don’t serve Brunch at The Point. We do at our other restaurant Ketch 22. Here’s a link our menu... https://ketch22.net/menu/sunday-brunch-menu/
No reservations, and no call ahead list. But a wonderful place and in my experience they manage their list well - we get seated on time or earlier than their estimate fwiw.
Right at the restaurant. The marina and restaurant share parking. I never have trouble finding a space.
Magothy seafood
We take ours... 31 ft. If it's busy you may have to wait for a spot in high season...
