Anna Jean Cummings Park, also known as Blue Ball Park, is a great park! It has lots of grass space to run around. Picnic benches and a few gazebos for having parties. Great play structure and slides for the kiddos. Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking.

This park is for all ages. On street level it has a grassy area and picnic tables and a wonderful expansive play structure. Above there are soccer fields and a wonderful mostly paved walking path. And even above that there is a great hiking path up a doable hill with spectacular views of the park below and even a glimpse of the ocean. I took pictures of the wildlife and flowers on the hiking path.

This is a large park with several sports playing fields, soccer, baseball, etc in the upper area, it connects to the trail for Arana Gulch and butts up to the football and baseball fields for Soquel High School. The lower portion has a nice playground and picnic area for kids and bday parties. Locals call it blue ball park due to the iron ball sculptures in the park.

Its a public park. Dogs are always welcome at public parks as long as they are on a leash.
Yes you can
