This place certainly lives up to the hype! Everything about our experience was amazing, from pulling up to the valet, to the spectacular views, top notch food, five star service and sounds of the ocean while eating. The waitress gave us great tips on what to order and literally everything we tried exceeded our expectations. We ordered several dishes - the eggplant spicy miso, prime filet yaki, Jidori chicken, and for dessert, the Bento box was out of this world as was the hazelnut cookie.

Fantastic FOOD, VIEW AND CREW and cocktails (Spiced Lemonade, my choice) get a 10 too! Enjoyed the melt in your mouth "Silky Tofu".....*happy dance, the steak 🌮 tacos and the Tofu w bean sprouts/spicy sauce over Sticky Rice, did not disappoint!

We passed by Malibu and were lucky to have our lunch at Nobu. The beautiful beach view is magnificent. We chose Omakase and let us surprised by chef’s creations. All dishes were served with full explanation. The intensity in texture and flavor increased dish by dish. My favorite was the starting and ending dish.. very fresh and delightful… the full set portion was right, even the price was very reasonable.

Nobu is no joke. Especially the one in Malibu. Great stylistic and flavourful food with an ocean view, you really can’t ask for much more. The ambience is beautiful — perfect for a date night, a meeting, or a dinner with friends. I’m not even going to comment on the price of this food because you’re paying for the experience. The freshest ingredients, the delightful staff and the spotless amenities are just a few perks of the Nobu experience. If I had it my way, I’d be coming here once a week, but I believe gems like these are best you visit them on occasion.

Both the interior and outdoor seating of the restaurant itself are stunning in the evening. And while it'll be dark out by 5pm at the end of December, Nobu casts light out onto the surf and crashing waves, so you're never w/o an ocean view.
If you gonna spend money who cares how you look or their dress code they’ll take money no matter how you look just go out their and have good time enjoy
Black Cod Miso for sure and the yellowtail sashimi.
Daytime view is absolutely breathtaking! Ask for a table in the patio. You'll love it!

I saw some of almost every genre of fashion. From casual joggers and Vans to bandage dresses and button downs paired with slacks. I'd say dress according to your comfort and occasion. Chilly at night, as it gets the coastal breeze. Have fun 😉

They may have a veggie sushi...I loved the vibe and ambiance there & valet was reasonable.

It depends on what you order, sushi can be more expensive as portions are small so you can end up paying +$80 per person. But the view makes it all worth it!
