Not too big but enough to get that nice work out pump going. Easily located right off the PCH. Great scenic view once on top.

Beautiful views, plenty of parking on the roadside and an opportunity to make your own rock stack.

Fun sand dune. It's only one nestled in the Santa Monica range on the north side of PCH so it may be busy with people you have to dodge. There's some trash also scattered throughout which detracts from the experience. Cool to run up & down as well as boogie board down.

Literally a sand dune along the side of the road. Much harder to climb the steep grade in deep sand than it looks. Views from the top back over highway 1 and the Pacific Ocean. Probably only worth a stop if you need to stretch your legs or want to wait for the sunset.
