With tears in my eyes PLEASE DONT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. My loved one was here less then two days and was treated so bad. They have more patients then staffing and staffing that doesn’t have enough knowledge. If I didn’t go visit him, he would of been hurt more. Long story short my loved one needs a neck brace on because he has a fractured neck. I showed up and he didn’t have the neck brace on. They took it off of him and he had it off for more then 24hrs. Everyone started blaming each other and no one was educated on his medical record.. There were more things that happen where he wasn’t treated good… he was basically abandoned. On top of that the case manger and nurse rn supervisor we’re extremely rude to us. Makes me want to cry just writing this. I beg you guys not to bring a loved one here.

If I could give this facility a -10 grade I would. First let me say I've worked in Pharmacy for over 30 years. My father owned a nursing home, so I am well educated in both pharmacy, convalescent, & acute hospital Law. They threatened me with withholding my pain medication and did. Instead of giving me my pain meds every 8 hours they made me wait 9 to 10 hours. I was in there for a broken hip and arm. The med nurse didn't like me and kept me extremely nauseated for for days. She said there was an order for anti-nausea medicine, but that the whole hospital didn't have any. It's a med that is very common in any hospital. Zofran. They have 7 day a week access to a pharmacy.. I would urinate in the bed & had an open wound on my thigh. They ignored my requests to be changed . I had pneumonia and I knew it since my congestion was low in my lungs. I asked them to call the doctor. They re REGUSED TO CALL THE DOCTOR. My normal body temp is 97.7°. According to medical knowledge these days a 99° temp for me is a fever. They showed me an ancient medical book where it states 99° is not a fever. For me it is. I would cough horribly and could here other patients say that someone was having an asthma attack. IHAD TO CALL 911 MYSELF . The ambulance came. The minute they got me on board the EMT gave me Zofran for my nausea. I was taken to an acute hospital where I was tested for COVID-19 and tested positive. I was hospitalized for 2 months. This place refuses to call the doctor for anything. I had COVID PNEUMONIA ‼ Also I told them that I am allergic to pepper. All kinds of peppers. Hot peppers red, black chili, you name it. I'm allergic every meal served to me had peppers in it. They BROKE THE LAW BY REFUSING ME MY MEDICATIONS. REFUSING TO CALL THE DOCTOR WHEN I WAS GRAVELY ILL. AND I HADTO CALL 911 MYSELF TO SAVE MY LIFE I was only there for 4 days and the abuse was so awful, I was trying to think of ways to commit SUICIDE.. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in there. Please if you have a family member or friend in Extended Care, get them out of there.‼‼‼

My daughter has been a resident at Extended Care for several years now. After suffering an accidental hip fracture on an outing with her group home. I have complete confidence in her care givers and the services they have provided her. I appreciate all they have done for her. Facility is clean. Has my recommendation.

I have a close friend who was admitted to Extended Care of Riverside six weeks ago, after suffering a cardiac arrest. First thing is the place is always clean and doesn't smell of urine (like most of these facilities do). The staff is always friendly and professional, always there to help out when a patient needs it. My friend has made great progress since being at Extended Care of Riverside. I would recommend this place.
