I just would like to commend Sheila at the Customer Service Desk. There are many kind, helpful people at Shop RIte but Sheila is all that plus one of the nicest, friendliest people I have dealt with at Shop Rite. At times I have made a mistake when inquiring about prices and she is always so pleasant and willing to help. Kudos to Shop Rite for having such a great employee. She is the perfect employee to be working at the Customer Service Desk!!! THANK YOU, Sheila!!

This review is more focused on the catering order we recently placed. Such as easy process, prices are more than fair, all the sandwich platters were assembled nicely, the food tasted great, plenty of options, and very affordable delivery. We used shoprite to supply all the food and dessert for my daughter's birthday party. We had roughly 70 guests. Anyone that asked where we got the food was shocked to hear we used shoprite. They said the food reminded them of a high quality deli. Not what you'd typically expect from a grocery store. The cake we got from the bakery was just as good. Really it could not have gone any better. We'll recommend shoprite catering to anyone.

While I will probably continue to shop here because the bakery is superior, I can’t say the staff is especially pleasant to deal with. The employee at self checkout tonight was actually so rude it’s at the point that I feel I don’t want to return. There are new markets opening everywhere in the area: management take note if you want to retain customers at least have your employees be courteous. I don’t expect fake nice or anything just don’t be a jerk. I could do without the eye rolling from the person with long blue finger nails whose name I didn’t get. I felt their frustration and hatred of me or maybe all customers: not sure…just quit if you hate your job. I’ll avoid you that’s for sure.

Called store to ask if they have a particular item in stock during what is presumably a quiet Sunday evening at 9 pm. After having no one answer 4 calls to customer service desk, got a hold of someone in another department who said they would check if the item is in stock.. 18 minutes later and I am still waiting on hold for this person to return to the phone, which at this point I doubt he will. Combined with lack of baggers this store just doesn't value the time of their customers. My time is valuable but this Shoprite doesn't think so and seemingly never will.
