After disembarking a bus I realized that I left some belongings behind. I called customer service and the friendly rep assured me that they would contact the driver. I was also told where I could pick up my items the following day. I'm pleased to report that there was a great outcome to what would have been a most terrible day for me. Everyone including the bus operator, the customer service rep, dispatch, and the office personnel handled my concern with great professionalism.

On Tues 9/10/19, the driver of the 282 (a pomona yard bus) completely screwed me over intentionally by not letting me board the bus (can't explain why). I was second of two people looking the board the bus, and I had my TAP card in hand, but the driver only took the first passenger and then just drove off. I sent an email that night to complain, and called in the next day as the office was closed the night prior. The CSR I spoke with told me that I'd be receiving a call back within a time frame of 2-5 business days. 5 business days pass and no word, so I decide to follow-up. I called on Wed 9/18/19 and was told that they weren't sure why I had not received a called but I should expect a call within a few days. That same day I received a call from, Amada, the investigator. Amada comes off pleasant until she isn't. She will start talking over you and will make a bunch of excuses. She initially told me that she hasn't seen the footage (5 business days have passed), how its a lengthy process to retrieve the footage, and that she should be getting it later that day (sounded like a bunch BS). She also told she would follow-up on Friday (9/20/19), once she has seen the footage. Friday comes - nothing. Monday comes - nothing. Tuesday (9/24/19- today) I called to see what was going on. I get a hold of Amada and she told me she saw the footage and the bus driver was at fault. I first ask why I have to follow-up with her when she said she'd follow-up with me after viewing the footage - she made some BS excuse and that just the start of a frustration conversation. She started speaking over me, again, not interested in what I had to say. She also tried to deflect the situation by focusing on trivial details, like the bus's faulty electricity, when the issue was that the Driver didn't let me board the bus. Then comes the compensation for being wronged so badly. She said she'd give me a coupon page that would be good for 2 free rides. Now for perspective, after filing a complain against the 185, an Arcadia yard bus, for something not nearly as egregious, I was 2 coupon pages for 4 free rides. Amada said that Arcadia yard operates differently and that's the best she can do. Amada is deserving of 2 out of 5 stars, easily below average. The Pomona yard needs to revamp their investigatory department, and reconsider compensation for when a Bus driver doesn't do his job and decides to screw over riders, that two free rides (only valid for a few weeks once received and only if the bus driver decides to let you board) really is a slap to the face. Edited from a 2 star to a 1 star. instead of receiving two free rides, I only received one. I assume Amada got wind of this review prior to mailing me the free rides and decided to be vindictive. She needs to be reassigned. I find her incompetent in her ability to do the job.
