Not too bad for car selection and quick service, as long as you have a reservation set ahead of time. Not too bad on prices as long as you are a gold member.

The location is very convenient to the terminal, there is a large variety of vehicles, and the service members were super helpful! The vehicle was clean and I didn’t have any issues picking up or dropping off, it was very expeditious. One of the best Hertz locations that I’ve worked with and I would definitely rent from them again!

Very disappointed with the service. We were charged a cleaning fee for just a little bit of sand in the backseat. Which is to be expected considering their location is right next to the beach and vacuuming as part of the standard clean when you return the car. They sent us the pictures and proved nothing worthy of an extra $75 for. Will not be renting and recommending them again!

If you are arriving at the LGB airport and you requested wheel chair assistance. An airport employee can assist you to the Hertz counter.
This Hertz location is at the airport, so yes, you could pay to leave your vehicle in the airport lots. Parking Lot A costs $19/day, Parking Lot B costs $17/day, and valet parking costs $24/day. The valet parking includes a car wash while you're away. You might want to check if taking a Lyft or Uber would be cheaper than paying for parking, and consider if this would be more convenient than having to drive both cars home if you keep the Hertz vehicle.

Not that I'm aware of. The terminal and rental area are separated by 50 feet. Simply cross Donald Douglas Dr. and you're there.
