Charming Hawaiian themed restaurant open since 1937 is perfect. It reminds me of the enchanted tiki room at Disneyland, but with amazing food. The dimly lit ambiance, welcoming staff, and the perfectly cooked prime sirloin have made this a go-to spot for multiple generations in my family, friends and for I. When I am in Los Angeles, I try to come to this restaurant if I can.

First of all Damons has got rid of two of my favorite dishes, the steak salad and the Tahitian orange cake. The latter seems to be really missed by everyone including the hostess. But the service here is outstanding and the food is very good. I on a whim had stroganoff beef which was delicious and an excellent mango chicken salad. Both of these were not what I expected to get a Damon's in both of them were really good. But as far as the streak goes, it was the New York Frank state, and it was very good.. I do wish they had more tiki type things? Besides shrimp? But otherwise everything was good. I ordered the chocolate cake and it was like a mountain range, it was so enormous I couldn't believe it.

Great atmosphere and amazing food and even better service. Id come back. But also isn't the usual tiki bar I'm use too. Thought there would be more Polynesian food.

Very limited up front, but there is parking behind (theres an alley that leads to it & a street) and there is metered parking a block down.

It used to be on the special menu and they didn't bring that menu back after the reopening.
I believe that restaurant is dine-in only, but there might be a third-party service such as GrubHub, or ubereats that delivers.

Never really ask...it's not Morton's or Ruth's Chris, but you're not paying those prices. It's a simple menu, place has been around since 1950. Food is solid for the pricing...house drinks, Chi Chi and Mai Tai are serious...have two, you may want to Uber.
