My experience purchasing a Beretta Silver Pigeon III was great from introduction to delivery. I live across the country and had my apprehension about making such a large purchase online without actually being able to see the product in person. This is the biggest purchase of a nonessential item I have ever made. (and I'm in my 60's). This is where Matt's assistance sealed the deal.... After talking to Matt about the three shotguns I had narrowed my search to, I identified to him the features in the wooden stock and forend that I find attractive. He recommended that I go with my #1 choice due to the high quality of the wood and it's beautiful myriad of color. However he did not stop there. Matt then took numerous photographs of the guns and e-mailed them to me. It was great! It made my choice much easier to make. I asked him to inspect the gun thoroughly for me prior to shipping. Matt informed me that Joel Etchen firearms are checked upon arrival to the store and again prior to shipping. The tracking number made the anticipation even greater and fun. It arrived one day early. When I went to my local FFL to pick it up, the shotgun aesthetics were in perfect condition. Perfect!! I will be shooting it for the first time tomorrow. BTW: the Beretta case in which it is delivered is very nice and highly underrated. It has the Beretta logo embossed into the front, three combination locks and is thin and sleek. Very attractive. Very seldom do I write positive reviews and never have I written one of this length, however this time it is certainly warranted. The purchasing experience, customer service and product are all exemplary. Don't even consider purchasing a Beretta shotgun without first checking out the extensive inventory of "in stock" firearms at Joel Etchen. Happy Shooting! Richard

I have to agree with all the other positive reviews. I recently purchased my first shotgun from Etchens. It definately wont be my last! These are the most decent and professional people I have dealt with in a lifetime of dealing with gunshops. I also had some work done by Wes who is their woodsmith. He is also a top notch guy and he did flawless work on my stock. Great people, great service and competitive prices. Outstanding!

The BEST gunshop I have ever been to! The staff treat you with so much respect regardless of what you are purchasing—it’s incredible. Matt sells to people all around the country but treat you as a valuable customer. I have made more than one trip to their shop and they never disappoint. Mr Etchen, who I knew nothing about, completed my first purchase. Then I looked at the history on line when I got home and was floored. They have the BEST Beretta selection in the country. Their JEG Silver Pigeon III and upgraded sporting shotguns are the exact upgrade that the 686 series needs. Look no further. Call anyone on staff; you won’t be sorry!
