I have lived here since summer of 2020. The building used to be under Greystar management and everything was fine. Ever since it went under new management last summer, it has been a disaster. We have consistently been out of wifi, heat, air conditioning, hot water, clean water, or any water, and can't go a week without at least one of them being broken. I have had to throw away multiple HelloFresh meals because their perishable package pickup policy is unclear and gets handled differently each week. The resident portal website looks like it was designed in 1997 and they don't even have an app version. To change a payment source or schedule you have to "submit a request," never receive a reply if your request is accepted, and can't tell when your change will go through. Because of this they withdrew my rent twice in December, overdrawing my bank account and forcing me to borrow money from family to make it until my next school loan. The maintenance and front desk staff who stayed through the management change are lovely but the office staff have no idea what they are doing. To top it off, they are raising the rent as though there is anything worth living here for. Thank goodness I am moving in May.

We lived at 929 for four years. For us, it has been the most safe, convenient, and affordable option. Although the apartments are somewhat small and poorly lit, we found that other popular complexes in Baltimore had serious issues with electrical fires, pests, smoke, packages getting lost, etc that 929 never had. We have always liked the staff as well. A big downside: management has made the decision to "upgrade" all apartments with a large amount of new and unnecessary furniture, which we do not have the option to decline. This hikes up our rent, and would just clutter up our cramped space. I wouldn't recommend 929 to a married couple, but it is still a great option for young students. We are sad to move out.
