Dr. Alexander Waldman is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and a triple Ivy League trained orthodontist. Dr. Waldman treats a wide range of children and adults and is a specialist in all types of braces and Invisalign. Dr. Waldman blends the latest research and technology with traditional, evidence-based orthodontic techniques, to provide patients with cutting edge orthodontic treatment. He has fully embraced digital technology to bring his patients more comfortable and accurate treatment options. Using an interdisciplinary approach, Dr. Waldman also offers a full range of advanced treatment options including innovative non-surgical techniques utilizing skeletal anchorage (TADS), surgical orthodontics, TMJ management, and accelerated treatment.
While there is no exact age for children to begin orthodontic treatment, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends visiting the orthodontist around age seven. By this age, most children have a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth, making it easier for Dr. Waldman to diagnose and correct tooth and jaw problems sooner and without surgery. Some children benefit from Phase One or "early" treatment in the mixed dentition, prior to the eruption of the full set of permanent teeth. Dr. Waldman is specialized in this type of treatment and will advise you if your child will benefit from this treatment approach. At the consultation, we will take diagnostic photos, orthodontic x-rays, as well as a 3-D digital scan. We will then discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. We will also discuss all of your payment options, including a flexible, interest-free payment plan with no finance charges.
Our office is an Out-of-Network provider, so we can only accept PPO plans. Coverage would be based on your Out-of-Network Orthodontic benefits. If you are unsure if you have coverage, please contact your carrier's Member Services and they can assist you in getting the information you need.
The cost of our treatments vary widely depending on the severity of the case and the treatments involved, we would need to see you for a consultation in order to provide a treatment fee.
