Leavenworth is a beautiful town! Bonus? This awesome park in the middle of everything!! Winter is an amazing time of year to visit and I felt like I was right back in the breathtaking state of Bavaria, Germany 🇩🇪 when we arrived. There are countless little shops and eateries to explore. I think the only things missing were Glühwein, Crêpes, and the familiar speech of Hochdeutsch, but that may have been just an oversight on my part. We will be back!

Mersadies Pringle

We went sledding here and walked through December 26th-28. Not crazy busy during our time here, the lights were on the whole time and it was BEAUTIFUL!! The lights made it so bright that even at 9pm it was bright as day! If you sled here: BE CAREFUL. There are benches & concrete cylinders around trees that can easily (and we're easily) crashed into... hellloooo injuries. So be careful if you sled here. Saying that, I'll also say: it was crazy fun haha

Wonderful town center! We watched children sled down the hill on snow sleds, a proposal under the gazebo, and musical performances while waiting for our dinner reservation all in one day.

This town has a beautiful scenery and warm holiday vibe. Small shops with souvenirs and great selection of food & drink.
