I am sooo pleased to have Dr. Shamlou as my orthopedic! I fought my insurance and primary to give me him in Downey since they wanted to get me to go to ghetto Lynwood in the St. Francis Medical center. It was so worth the wait! Dr. Shamlou is so friendly and approachable. He greets you with a fist bump which is so cool! Great bedside manners and explained everything to me about my knee pain and what I needed! I did not feel rushed and I asked all my questions and concerns! I look forward to my visit with this office! The office staff is nice too, especially the receptionist Yolanda!

Dr. Shamlou is perhaps the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever met. Ihe has replaced 3 of my mother's joints which has resulted in painfree living, minimalized scarring and a renewed sense of confidence for her and our entire family. His office staff genuinely cares about their patients. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr. Shamlou for any orthopedic care.
I really like Dr. Shamlou; he is kind and listens to his patients. However, I have requested an MRI twice and nobody calls me to set it up.
