Extra Space recently took over what was the loveliest local storage unit. My partner and I use our two units for business. Extra Space takeover has been a pain. We weren't informed that there would be a change of ownership, payment, accounts etc. Communication and Extra Space systems have so far been disorganized and unhelpful. I hope they can pull it together. We miss Santa Monica Mini Storage.

This place wouldn't let me rent a storage because they didn't see a driver's license. I have state ID. Their excuse was "We don't rent to homeless people". I am not homeless just learning disabled enough that I cannot drive. They are really rude and heartless jerks. Go to Extra Space. Extra Space has people with better business manners.

Always clean, always safe, what with gated entry and personalized entry codes, this storage facility has been nothing but convenient and stress free. Ask for Donita, the owner, who will help you get it done at every turn. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Who would of thought such a polite and pleasant experience could be had at, of all places, a storage facility.
