I called Friday evening at around 4pm and told them that I was already parked and wanting to go inside but wanted to inquire the wait time. The person who picked up was Vanessa. She said that if I was going to pay out of pocket to get seen by the doctor, that they would take me in right away and get seen but that if I was going through insurance , that they were no longer taking in patients with insurance for the day anymore. How does that make sense?! Why would I pay out of pocket and not use my insurance. I was parked right out side by the gas station and there was no one clearly there waiting in the lobby and the light were turned off and the blinds by the front entrance facing Ross across the street, were pulled down. This is very unprofessional. I ended up going down the street on la brea and fountain to find out they are sister locations and I just want to say, don’t waste your time here at Sunset and go to the fountain and la brea location. The girls and provider were so nice to me, it definitely made my experience a lot better.

I have been going here for the last 2 years when I have needed an urgent care.There is a female doctor at this location who is so knowlegable and who I trust more than a lot of doctors at our local hospitals. She is extremely compassionate and smart and they are fortunate to have her. She really knows what she is doing. There is not that rushed out feeling you get at the hospital, although they move quickly enough that you aren't there for hours. There is often no wait here, but when there is, the chairs in the waiting room are very comfortable and they have wall plugs where you can charge your phone. I am knocking off a star because one of the receptionests, like others have said, has a bad attitude and no one wants to have to deal with that, especially when not feeling well. But all in all they are quick and make it easy once you get there.

If plan to come here, don’t waste your time. I called TWICE to confirm when they were closing and when they were taking their last patients. Drove an hour in LA traffic to find no parking. Then met with cold greeting and lazily rapport that they were booked for the day. Was told to go to exer instead. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Dr. Tina was truly excellent when I came in tonight. Even though it was only 20 minutes before they closed she was patient and kind and generous and made me feel very taken care of. She even rushed me in and out so that I could get a prescription filled before the pharmacy closed. So grateful for her!
