I got a NEW cylindrical cell battery from Electron Automotive for my 2012 Prius, and I love it! Their customer service was excellent and the battery itself works even better than I imagined. I swapped the batteries myself; it took about an hour to remove the old one and another hour to install the new one the next day. I avoided the core charge by dropping off the old battery at the same time I picked up the new one since I live about 45 minutes from the shop. You should call to ask about this before ordering online because I couldn't add the item to my online cart unless I checked the box for the extra core charge. They ended up taking my order over the phone. My full tank range went from about 375 miles to 560. I can also run the AC full blast while parked for about 6 or 7 minutes before the gas engine kicks on. I can feel the extra power, too.

Amazing business with amazing people! My 08 Prius was completely dead and I had to get it towed here. I've had so many problems with this car and I didn't know where to go. Early next morning they had a detailed list of everything wrong with my car and told me specifically what I needed to get it running again.
