I am amending my 5 star review down to 4 stars. The $1 Plus has made some great changes to their store, which is now much neater than in years past. However, with the dissolution of their higher end store, pricing in this location belies the store name. Bookman pricing without the Bookman organization? Disappointing.

One of the best used bookstores I’ve ever seen! This amazing collection of books for sale is a great place to get the hard copy of any type of a book. Whether wanting a ready reference, coffee table book or the real physical copy, above and beyond the ‘not always reliable’ e-book, there’s something for everyone! They’ve worked hard to build the constantly changing inventory and keep the store going, post-pandemic. The store is located just to the right of Vons Grocery Store, off to the side.

I found this place from a comment on TikTok, and I’m so happy I went! Most of the books are $1, even hardcover. They don’t have a big selection of new books, but I didn’t go in looking for those, so it wasn’t an issue. Their selection is very wide, so go when you’re looking to spend a good chunk of time there. I got about 15 books for $30. Highly recommend!

I have seen lots of training books on a variety of professions and trade skills. I would guess that they do have one on electrian skills.
