Graduated here around 2014-2015: I recommend this school for those who wants to get into beauty business. They will also help you with stateboard exam, especially tips and hint on what you should do before so. Ms. Vikki was my former instructor and the most wonderful teacher I ever had.

Didn't enjoy my experience here, I attended as part of the manicure program and to put it simply the school cares more about your money than anything else. My instructor was really nice and I love how she encouraged all of her students to do their best and she really took her time with each of us, although there were less than 10 students. However she either didn't know enough about the subject she's teaching or hasn't been trained to teach it appropriately. Since they have no sort of curriculum it's year round classes and you can start as soon as you pay. My first day they were learning how to apply free edge acrylic which deals with several different chemicals, they had me begin practicing this immediately. This being my first day I didn't know what chemicals I was dealing with or what safety precautions are necessary to know before handling them. You would think being a cosmetology school the first lesson no matter when you start would be how to safely handle the chemicals they give you so that you don't end up with a painful skin allergy that sends you to urgent care and leaves lasting symptoms almost 6 months later. Even if I knew something as simple as what type of gloves to wear, that could have been avoided. I attended this school for only a month and a half before covid shut them down and by that point I was already considering dropping out due to the allergy and due to their lack of consideration for safety and cleanliness in their facility (during the month of March they were taking zero precautions against covid until the state finally ordered schools to shut down). Finally what really upset me about this school is how greedy they are. They don't accept any forms of financial aid even though i researched and found that they are eligible, they choose not to. They're also $1.5-2k more expensive compared to other manicure programs and the TWO nail kits that you are required to purchase are NOT included. Then they ask for monthly tuition payments to be made the second week of each month, So when they finally closed due to covid it was the same week all students made their payments for the month. So we paid and did not get to attend school. Then when the school reopened the 2nd week of August they informed all students to bring their tuition checks... so we pay for another month of school we have not yet attended even though they just ate our last payment???? I brought this up and was basically ignored on this matter. But I'm not making any more tuition payments anyways because I will not be returning. I don't recommend this school.

I absolutely love this school. I'm currently taking the Esthetician course and have learned a lot so far on top of enjoying the atmosphere. Mrs. Martinez is soo awesome. She's very informative and very kind. The students are all great as well and I'm so glad I chose to enroll here!
