There are a lot of nice sites, but there's not nearly as much to do as there used to be. The only real entertainment is the river and the pools, two 3'-5' deep and a 12"-18" deep baby. There's also an old mini golf course.

Very nice campground. We were traveling through and only stayed one night. Has full hook ups (water, electric, sewer) for a very reasonable price. There is a pool, playground, basketball court, and many other activities for familes. All the facilities are very well maintained. Staff is friendly and they monitor the gate and campground 24/7. One thing I will say is that the campground holds 200-300 campers and several groups are there to have a good time. Lots of drinking and loud unedited music playing all day long. But night time hours are quiet.

Big place, lot of things you can do. Has restrooms and showers. Campsite wasn't too bad.Had an ant colony on ours though. Nice along the river. Has dog parks and walks.

This place was great! I was lucky enough to get a spot right by the river. They had very nice AC individual bathrooms with good showers. The pools weren't open every day, but when they were a lot of people enjoyed them. I thought it was nice that they had separate pools for adults and children, and they even had a baby pool. The clubhouse was fabulous. It was well air-conditioned very spacious, had pool tables and dart boards and even Hallmark Channel among many on a big screen TV. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area. I appreciated its proximity to Shenandoah National Park. And our town of Front Royal has some very nice shops.

Yes they do. They have events all day for kids then at around 6 they shut down the road by the river so kids can trick or treat.
Only deed holders (paid members) or their guests. Otherwise only if a member of participating club. However you may want to call and ask about any deeds for sale. Some people are offering them at cheap prices. We have been members since it first opened and love the campground.
The fee for becoming a new member varies you can find some people who are just looking to get rid of there deed or sell them cheap, but the yearly dues are 875.00 a year for 200 days of camping. Jim Henry doesn't know what he is talking about I'm a member there and you are not allowed to live on the property year round and I can say since we have been there there have been no major issues there are people who do use there full 200 days there but last time I checked there was 365 days in a year but those people are retired and end up going somewhere else for the winter.
If you have a membership and your only staying for a little while you pay for each night otherwise I don't know

Yes. Plenty of hookups for one to many nights
Prices can very owners pay only yearly maintenance fee, camp club members get discounted prices and public pays full price. Go to nfra.com select menu>camping for price list.
It's the same price for everyone unless you buy a deed.
