Went for breakfast and found it to be an ok experience. Food was very average, had most of the basic options and was overall decent but a bit pricy. The service was a little slow and impersonal and they were not very busy. I will give this place another try though.

They recently underwent an ownership change. Since then it has done nothing but go down hill. I use to stop and eat here on a weekly basis. Service is ridiculously slow, the food takes forever and it seems like half the time something is wrong. Today I sat at and bar literally sweating and having to use napkins to dry my face. I did love how the dish was was sweating into the glasses as he was restocking them. What has happened to our great local diner.

If you like to order food to never receive the food this is the place for you. THE FIRST TIME my wife and I went, I understood there may have been a situation with one of the waiters leaving mid shift okay I didn’t take it to heart but I even reminded the other waiter of my missing scrapple, still never got it. This second time I took my kids and wife, I ordered a side of eggs and got a extra biscuit and gravy. Never got to see the eggs and my biscuits arrived dryer than a Popeyes biscuit. The waiter reconfirmed that I wanted gravy on them and I agreed that was what I wanted. When I left there was still no gravy brought to my table. Oh and not to mention there was only 3 other tables taken so they were not busy at all. I was hoping to have a nice diner to go to for breakfast here and there but I think I’d rather stick with McDonald’s. With that said I do not recommend this place for poor service poor food quality. Sweet environment but doesn’t make up for it.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Our server Paula was the best! Delicious homemade food. I had fried chicken (pan-fried in a cast iron skillet), mashed potatoes with gravy and a salad. The chocolate meringue pie was amazing!
