Really nice people and property. Wine of course was great also. Some pictures from our tour.

Wonderful wine tasting experience with Rebecca! So informative as well as intimate and personalized! Tasted (and purchased!) some very special wines aged to perfection. Beautiful location!

We had a wonderful tasting tour in the cave. Thanks Rick. We learned some fascinating tidbits about the winery and its history. We tasted a number of the excellent wines they have on offer. Our favourite was the 2006 Elivette, a truly extraordinary vintage.

My favorite wines in Napa, and the only place where I’ve joined the wine club. Though I'm far from an oenophile, I live about an hour away from Napa and think that the Spring Mountain district has some of Napa's best wines. And Spring Mountain Vineyard harvests the largest parcel of land on the mountain. The 2005 Elivette (the only California wine to win gold at 2010 Decanter World Wine Awards) might be the best wine I've ever tasted. All of SMV's wines are exceptional, the regular tasting room is intimate (~6 guests), and the 1885 Queen Anne house on the property is gorgeous, with a ~16 person dining room used for estate tastings and private events. The grounds are also beautifully kept. And the vineyard is quite close to St. Helena, which is a beautiful Napa Valley town with cute hotels. The only downside for me is that Spring Mountain is at the northern end of Napa Valley, so it's a bit longer drive than vineyards farther south. No walk-ins, so be sure to book a tasting in advance!

Yes, we are very thankful.
They have damage surrounding the winery but are still standing as of today
Hi Brent, Without knowing if they were stored properly over all these years, it would be the challenge in selling the wines. I can tell you the ones we have stored in the caves here are selling well and drinking fine. The 1988 is selling for $300 and the 1979 for 500. Both delicious, but the label is ours not the special label from the show. I have not tried the 82, I would agree with Jon that it may sell to fans of the show.
