I bought a dryer last week. When it was delivered the guy said he can’t install it unless we get a new gas valve. Not a problem. He said it would cost $75 and he has it and we can pay cash or check. Fine no problem. I don’t care about the money (even though the piece is only $15 online) but I just want it done. When I go to pay he writes on the invoice $75 for ‘extra’. I ask who should I write the check out to? He says Cash. In what world does a large company ask for everything to be in cash? This isn’t a mom and pop shop. My mind immediately went to……‘he’s trying to pocket this’. I say absolutely not and write it to P.C. Richard and Son and then he decides to add the ACTUAL detail to the invoice of gas stopper. I felt like I was getting scammed so I wanted to double check…. I email our sales rep to ask if this was legit or not and how P.C. Richard breaks down their pricing and where I can find it. The email bounced back…. Then I call the store and the person on the phone was EXTREMELY rude and rushed me off the phone and ignored my questions and gaslit me. They assumed I was calling about ‘overpaying’ but what I wanted to know was where the price is listed for that piece and if it was normal to ask for cash or is this guy scamming me? Keep in mind - I just wanted to make sure that this was all legit and if someone was to tell me yes here’s our policy and pricing - then it would be no problem. But now I feel like I got scammed. Even if it was legit this is not how things should have been handled. I will never shop here again which is sad because I’m redoing an entire kitchen and eventually need matching laundry with the dryer. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Really disappointed.

He went above and beyond when he was familiar with our unit location and noted that we needed a smaller fridge. His attention to detail saved us a great deal of time and frustration. Had a very good experience here with Jeff, a very nice salesperson. I ordered a Fridgedaire dishwasher which was on sale. It was a very easy and pleasant experience working with him. Unfortunately the dishwasher arrived and would not work. Within 4 days, another arrived and was also faulty. I was able to order a Whirlpool dishwasher instead right away, no hassles and the best part is, Jeff and Brian, the manager, did not charge me the $164 difference in price. I would definitely shop here again.
