City of victorville advertises this place to be used for ALL Victor Valley residents EXCEPT for tires and bulky furniture which is for Victorville residents only. Today 6/23/22, I was told in person that they only except TV's and mattresses from victorville residents as well. The Burrtec attendant allowed me to drop these items today but will not allow it in the future. Just an FYI for anyone else that may be turned away after making the drive there.

Make sure what you're throwing away is on the list, first come first served so the wait can be a few minutes to an hour depending on who is in front of you and how much junk they have. Also be sure to separate your items by category on list as the containers require like items only. Again remember to carefully read the flyer or you will end up at the landfill like me.

You will need to bring a valid photo ID as well as a current utility bill showing your name and your city of Victorville service address. Residents of other communities CAN NOT drop off tires or furniture, but they can drop off appliances, TVs/electronics, cardboard, scrap metal, mattresses/box springs; and mixed recyclables (paper, cans, bottles, jars) at no charge.
