One of the worst institutions you can bank with. If you wanna call it that. Absolutely ZERO Fraud protection. Steer clear

If you need assistance with credit, retirement funds, or anything else, ask to schedule an appointment with David J Aguilar. He is a senior member relationship specialist. About a month ago, he helped me with my credit score and gave me "Free" advice no one else had lent to me up to that point. He also raised my credit limit from $500 to $5000 based on my good credit history. If I could rate higher I would.

When I walked in to the branch the air was stale and it smelled. 3 tellers, and two others at desk behind me. While waiting in line for about 10 minutes, I overhead conversations about why someone was being denied a loan, she had a bad credit score. Another was a gentlemen talking about all his assets. No privacy for those poor people talking about confidential information. During my wait time I noticed the ropes and stands which keep us in line are dirty and stained. So is the carpeting in the offices. I get to the teller and have $33 in change to exchange for bills. I left my ID at home, so I have to answer questions to verify my identify. No problem, done this before. I give her my account number. She had the nerve to ask me if this is a RCU number, like I don't know where I bank. She says this doesn't seem like an RCU numver and I have to repeat it theee times. Not because it was loud, because she was not believing that was my account number. That's poor customer service. I'm a member for over 20yrs. I also provided my DOB, CDL, phone number and this was still not good enough for her. And this was to change $33 in rolled change to bills. She then asked me for my social security number. I asked if I could give her the last 4 #'s. She said no. I explained I would not verbally give it to her as there is no privacy in this bank. I wrote it down instead. If I had time, I would have explained a 1939 law determined a person's social security number CANNOT be used as a way to verify identity. I do all of my business in Sonoma County with RCU, and will never go to that branch again in Novato. I'd rather take an overdraft fee. The teller acted like I was trying to pull something over on her. I've made much larger transactions without an ID, also with tellers who were not familiar with me. She insulted me. She even opened up one of the packages of dimes and and recounted it, because she thought it was short. It was not. One of her final comments to me was that they'll just take the money out of my account for missing coins. Wow!!!! I'm insulted and can't believe that how RCU trains its staff. Please pass this on to someone who can do something about this. Thank you, MaryEllen Clare

Yes – our Novato branch (and most RCU branches) are open Saturdays from 9 am – 4 pm. All locations and hours are posted on our website. Thanks!
Yes I believe you can access your safety deposit box on a Saturday
Hello, If you are having technical difficulties please reach out to our Member Service Center for help. You can also complete a loan application at your local branch if you prefer.
You can receive payments through Zelle only. Instead, we have RCUpay, which you can access on our mobile app. With RCUpay, you can send money to anyone who has an account in the U.S.
