I would like to address an incident that happened on 16 July 2022 at the Bridges on Sunset property in Suisun City, CA. There was a water leak that occurred the day prior which resulted in property management to close the water line. My family and I had no running water, couldn’t use the toilet, or take a shower for almost 24 hours. I decided to call the front office at around 11 am to follow up on the water outage in which Shiela answered the phone. She insisted that she didn’t know what was going on with the water leak and gave me no further explanation. I was growing very frustrated at the fact that I had received no email or notification regarding on the status or of when the leak was going to be resolved. At around 12 pm I came downstairs to speak with a staff member and came across Tina who was part of management. I asked her about the status of the water leak and she proceeded to become very condescending and sarcastic regarding the matter. She told me in her words “ What would you like me to do about it?” and she also responded with “ What do you want me to do? We can’t magically fix the water leak”. I became very frustrated at her and told her my concerns and she responded back with “Get it all out” while smiling at me. I have never dealt with this poor and lack of customer service from the staff members before at the property. She never apologized and still insisted there was nothing that can be done regarding the water leak. I finally snapped at her and walked off which I apologize for. Finally an hour later, management sent out an email regarding the status of the leak and eventually fixed it moments later. Later on that day as I was walking with my family to my car, Tina and I made eye contact which she then yelled out from across the apartments “Roy, is your water fixed?” trying to taunt me. This is unacceptable for property management to be treating their residents in this sort of manner. We pay our rent and expect nothing but for management to do their job at the end of the day. I spoke with Niah who is the property manager and she won’t even hear my side of the story. She claims I was hostile towards Tina and can’t contact the front office regarding this issue unless through email. This is uncalled for. She won’t acknowledge Tina’s rude comments directed towards me and proceeds to say “Tina was handling the situation the best she can”. This is unacceptable especially coming from the property manager to say towards a resident. I’m reaching out to corporate, hoping that this issue is resolved and for property management at Bridges on Sunset to be held accountable for.

We have had a few owners now at this complex since we moved 4 years ago. I have mixed reviews because the management has been good to me! No complaints there! But!!! If you have lived here for awhile, they will not update your appliances in your kitchen unless you move out. If you are planning to live here , you might get lucky in getting into an apartment that is updated with newer appliances. It was one of my biggest complaints here. I was told that the only way they would update was until I actually move out or decide to move into one of their other newer apartments within the complex (which I think was very nice of them to consider). Noise is bad at times from the pool areas after hours or from the loud cars and bikes from the nearby streets. Otherwise, it’s a good neighborhood and a good apartment complex to live in.They are very good in communicating via emails and notices on your doors, which I really do appreciate. There are some loud mouth renters, had random homeless people casually walking into the property, noise disturbances before but this complex has come a long way from all that now. So, that being said, I would definitely give props to the two previous owners and the management team because they actually took matters into their own hands and addressed it right away and made things so much pleasant. So Thank you!!!!
