Nice dog park in that it is a good mix of grass and dirt. Too many dog parks are all dirt and we dog owners know how much it sucks to watch your dog just endlessly roll around in the mud. Which of course results in an immediate trip to wash your dog😂. As you can see by the photos, it’s not that large, but if you are there with just 10-15 other dogs there is plenty of space. People were friendly and the park is pretty clean.

Fulton el -Camino recreation ! And park District Setting the example for all parks It starts off with a 1 mile track and multiple baseball fields as well as a tennis court at a reserve for the wildlife Lawn is well groomed and the trees are all Healthy A great place to have family gatherings and events !!!

I know Howe Park has a LOT going on, but I’m writing this review, specifically, on the Dog Park. Due to complications involving Airlines, The Navy, and Murphy’s Law (What can go wrong will go wrong) we found ourselves babysitting a very large Husky that we knew nothing about. Thanks to the wonderful people who frequent this dog park, we were able to learn what is normal dog behavior and to relax and let dogs be dogs. It is terrifying when you don’t know the difference between dominant behavior and aggressive behavior! To those who “experienced” Oliver and gave us a “He’s ok” or “He’s fine” I want you to know that those couple of words made his whole stay so much better! Thank you! Btw, Oliver did get a flight to Guam and is safely back with his Dad.
