Venice Beach Boardwalk was a great place to go, but it has really gone downhill because of all the homeless tents on the edge of the boardwalk. You barely could see the beach!

I'd give five stars but I find parking pricey. On our way to the beach, I saw other parking spots that were cheaper about $10 so the best things to do if you are new to the area is to go around and compare prices. I didn't do it so I paid $20 flat rate. However, this price is good if you plan on staying the entire day. On another issue, Venice Beach is a beautiful place, it was my first time here and I'm planning to go back and bring my mom just for a walk around. It'd be easy for me to wheel her around and Americans are very welcoming and friendly!!!
