I had vibration when I step on brakes at 60+ mph. Brough my Nissan Maxima 2018 to that dealership. I asked an advisor to service the front brakes. The adviser told me that they need to do diagnostic first - $190. But he said that they would not be responsible for the diagnostic results. For example if they decide they need to fix brakes, it’s $480 per axel and rotors are $150+ each in addition. But if the vibration is not fixed, they are not going to return or credit that diagnostic fee. I asked if they can just fix my brakes without that useless diagnostic. The adviser talked to the manager and said it’s OK, but they would not be responsible for the result. It looks like they don’t want be responsible for anything 😊. I said no, have a great day. Took my car to a local shop with good reviews same day. they took my car for a test drive for free, said my front rotors need to be fixed and fixed the brakes at a fraction of dealership cost. The problem is gone.

Our experience with north bay Nissan today couldn’t have gone any better. They were kind, professional, and really made a tough situation the best they could for us. I felt like they went above and beyond and I didn’t leave with the bad feeling I’ve felt after leaving so many other dealerships in the past. Service Advisor Juan Padilla advised me that my brakes would need another visit in order to get them to perform better than the way they worked since I owned the vehicle. Although a recent brake fluid change was done properly, Juan went out of his way to improve the performance of my brakes beyond my expectations following a second visit. My experience with most Service Advisors would have ended with the brake fluid change. Juan's accountability and genuine concern for a job well done shows that professionalism still exists in the car industry. You just need to know where to find it.
