This is a great little farmer's market like place. It is owned and operated by some of the friendliest folks you'll ever meet. Don't drive by, Stop by and check them out!

Nice little place but WOW the prices were VERY high. Caught me by surprise to grab 2 drinks, a little round bread and small bundle of flowers for $41+. Good variety. Cashier seemed a tad loopy. All and all I won't ever go back.Thank you for complimenting our "nice little place..." We certainly do have a great variety, you're right about that. My husband and I have been living/operating our business here for 14 years now. We live here in Linden above the Farmers Market, however all the pasture raised meats we sell come from our farm which is located in Front Royal. As a local business, we, too, like to support other local businesses. The "little round bread" you purchased is high quality artisan bread made right here in Linden, (wineries sell this same exact bread for $4.00 more than we do and you think our price is too high?!?!?.) The owner of this company is an amazing human being. I guarantee you posted this prior to tasting his bread, because I assure you... you will want more of the yummy bread. It's AMAZINGLY delicious. We sell out EVERY WEEK. We have repeat customers who come strictly for his specialty breads, and some purchase 4-5 loaves at a time, because it freezes well. As for your "small bundle of flowers," that is another local company located out of Front Royal. Fresh cut flower Farms are cherished, and we also, sell out of her flowers every week, too. Funny how our prices are high, considering your purchase is supporting 3-4 different local businesses. And as far as my employee being a "tad loopy." What's that saying? Oh yeah... "If you don't have anything nice say, say nothing at all."

Thank you for asking! The Giving Tree has been opened for 12 years now, as an indoor/outdoor farmers market, BUT because our shop is ALSO our home, beginning last year March 15th, we have turned The Giving Tree farmers market to a complete outdoor operation. Even though we all want things to get back to more "normal," we will be reopening and maintaining the same outdoor checkout operation. We created a checkout station where we can maintain 8feet of kindness and we sanitize with 75% isopropyl alcohol before and after each transaction. To maintain EXTRA safety, even though it's wayyy more work on our end, we will ALSO continue to personally shop for everyone to eliminate everyone touching everyone else's food. We will be posting our new hours soon on all social media soon! Happy Spring and we look forward to reopening and seeing all familiar faces!
