This is a good metro station because when you go up where the stairs are before you get on a long trip with the bus or just going on the metro silver line which is across the street you can just buy some chips, pizza, drinks and all things that they sell is $1.48 and up to $3.48 its a good station there is also a bus stop where all busses which is the end of the line and they wait for people to arrive to get on the bus so it's worth staying 15 minuets in a metro cart it's really worth a ring you want to get good shots for your pictures

I actually started in Pasadena. I took the Red Line light rail to Union Station, Downtown Los Angeles. There I transferred to the Red Line subway and got off at Universal Studios station. Total cost $1.75. It took about 1 hour. Great to travel without worrying about traffic and expensive parking. The only problem was there were homeless people sleeping on the train.

Love this station because it’s only a twenty minute walk to the Hollywood Bowl ! If you don’t feel like walking, you can pick up a shuttle bus here that will take you to the Bowl !

Still the fastest way to get from the Valley to downtown. And cheaper, you avoid parking fees. Anyone who wants to say their ride can do the quarter mile in blank, have never experienced bumper to bumper Los Angeles traffic. This is the only way to avoid that. You put $100 dollars on your Tap Card, which gets you the monthly-fare-pass. (Bare in mind each boarding is a $1.75 so you do the math, how it is cheaper to get 30 day vs the standard) And you'll be saving stacks of cash. For those of us who live within our means.

The end of the ride is Union station 🚉
You need a tap card & your license plate number for the parking machines just outside of the station. Scanning your tap card and entering your license plate into the machine insures metro you are a metro rider and you paid to park. It's $3 🤘🏽
Yes
Not this station https://www.metro.net/riding/paid_parking/red-line/
Unless it went up again, metro fare is $1.75 per trip in one direction including 2hrs of transfers, just tap on the next line and you shouldn't have to pay again until 2hrs or you change direction.
Every 20 mins until 8pm then every 30 mins until 12 midnight then varies
