Food was really good and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. However, the quality of the food really depends on whoever is making it. My chicken kabob was a bit dry and the skewered vegetables were burnt very badly. You couldn’t even tell what veggie you were eating. However, the beef koobideh kabob was really good and juicy. The skewered veggies were grilled deliciously. Service was friendly, parking is good, and overall it was a yummy restaurant at the Long Beach Exchange.

Skirt steak kabobs were pretty good but not cooked evenly so I only ate half the meat on the kabob. Rice is very good as well as the salad. The mimosas were mostly orange juice not much trace of champagne. Servers are very nice but with the amount is guest it takes long for ordering, refills or check. The place is very clean and tidy, it is a very busy place I would say a bit pricey for what you get.

PKG is one of my favorite places to eat , especially if I want to eat a hearty and healthy meal. The one thing that ruins a great restaurant is customer service. There is one server at this location that I feel really needs to work on her customer service skills. I will not mention her name, but I will describe her. This lady is in her 60's early 70's . She has total attitude with the customers! I'm surprised she still has a job. She's an older stocky looking lady with brown short hair. She has a raspy voice , and she does not do a good job checking on the customers. When you have to ask her to bring something extra or request for lemon for your water, she totally has attitude or just watch her facial expressions 🫤😤

This was my 1st time here, and this experience may not have been a winner for me to come back or recommend. The chicken kabob and Mediterranean salad were good, but the beef kabob and basmati rice were not. The beef did not in any way taste or look grilled. It was gray and pink in color and had the texture of a TV dinner Salisbury steak. It was not tasty or appetizing in any way, shape, or form. The rice was very bland and lacked color. Lastly, the hummus was okay, it tasted more like a butter hummus of some sort, not as expected. For the price I paid, I deserved better.

At PKG, we prioritize our guests' and staff's safety and well-being at all times. To protect our guests' and staff's safety, we always follow all recommended state/local health guidelines. For dining in, we always sanitize tables in between guests, enforce social distancing (between dine-in guests vs. takeout vs. delivery drivers), contactless menus are provided, and sanitizer stations are available. We enforce wearing masks for both staff and guests and for our staff, we conduct daily wellness checks prior to clocking in. As well, we only accept card payments (with contactless pay available such as Apple Pay) and have gone cashless to minimize the amount of person-to-person contact. For delivery orders, we also bag all food in sealable, tamper-evident bags. Any questions or concerns, please reach out to us anytime or visit our website for the latest information. We are proud to be your local, safe, Mediterranean restaurant.
Unfortunately at this time, we do not serve halal food. However, our proteins are sourced from reputable vendors at the top of the restaurant industry such as antibiotic and hormone-free chicken from Mary's Chicken and Wayne Farms, all-natural beef from Cedar River Farms, sustainably raised Atlantic salmon and organic tofu. We also offer delicious, plant-based options such as our green lentil soup, salads, tofu kabob, mushroom kabob, hummus trio, and falafel platters. We hope you may consider giving us a try!
