Paul Steiner told us he was handling our case and we should not file a response to a cross complaint. He reviewed with us scanned documents we sent him, held phone conversations with us telling us he was responding on our behalf. He told us we had time, which was a lie. He then ignored our emails and phone calls. We scrambled to find another attorney to draft and file a response for us, but were told it was too late. Paul Schneider cost us 40,000 when we lost our case. He made up lies to try and justify and excuse his unethical conduct. He is a greedy, patholigical liar.

If your business is served with a complaint, you should contact an attorney immediately. Some states require businesses to have an attorney represent them. An attorney can help you draft a response and meet the deadlines and obligations that come with legal action against your business. Even if you have not officially been served with a complaint, if you suspect one is on the way it is a good idea to consult an attorney.

Bob Levin | Sep 4, 2019

The difference between civil litigation and commercial litigation is that civil litigation is a lawsuit between individuals intended to enforce the legal right of the plaintiff to seek compensation, whereas commercial litigation involves businesses. Commercial litigation tends to be more complex because multiple parties are involved. Commercial litigation might involve class action or multi-district litigation and it can be filed in federal court. Cases might take years and a great deal of money to resolve and involve a lengthy discovery process.

Can I sue when a business interferes with my clients?

Bob Levin | Sep 4, 2019

Yes, you have the right to sue if a business interferes with your clients. If a company wrongfully disrupts your relationship with clients, you might be entitled to relief via a tortious interference lawsuit. This type of lawsuit might include claims of mental distress, punitive damages, and more. Tortious interference lawsuits might include interference with contract, in which a party is forced to breach a contract, or interference with business relations, wherein the defendant engages in wrongful conduct, such as defaming your company.

What is a complex business dispute?

Business disputes are often considered complex when they involve extensive review of business records or highly technical accounting, financing, lending, insurance coverage, and tax issues. These cases often require financial experts to analyze the information. Complex disputes usually involve multiple venues and/or multiple parties. Litigation might occur simultaneously in state and federal courts. It is important to have legal guidance any time you are involved in a business dispute, but it is especially important when the dispute is complex.
