Nice store and associates but do not care about what happens after the sale. They just make excuses and blame their service vendors. A professional company would not allow vendors they contract with to make them look bad. We all make mistakes and things happen, but good companies do what is needed to make things right. Al one of the managers is especially good at passing blame and not caring, he really seems not to know his industry and assumes all customers are morrons.

This is a terrible business entity. We bought Viking appliances from them for our new home. There were issues with the brand new appliances after installation such as misaligned refrigerator doors, misaligned range door, broken hood range filter, etc. We asked for someone to come to take a look to ensure everything was properly installed. We were willing to pay for their general contractor to come out, although it should be part of their customer services. However, there was no responses once the purchase is completed. Other consumer grade appliance manufacturers and distributors have much better post-purchase services than this high-end appliance distributor. I would not buy anything from Friedman's again.

I was really impressed with Friedman's. I had just been to a competitors store and while the selection was good, most of the staff weren't very helpful. I went to Friedman's and expected the same thing. I was blown away. For one, the store is much larger than it looks. They have a huge selection of brands and styles. They also put the appliances in fully functional kitchens to give you an idea of how they would look. They rooms are individually decorated so the look flows with the appliances. Lots of good decorating ideas here, I wasn't even looking for that, but they did such a good job I left with some new ideas. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The refrigerator I wanted is out of stock for the color I need it in, but Bill pulled a quote for me, including delivery, installation and a 5yr warranty for a good price. I definitely recommend this place.

I’m knocking a point off of what would otherwise be a five-star review because of a negative experience we had with our recent refrigerator purchase. The unit arrived missing the door shelf bins for one of the doors, this after the delivery guy assured me that I had all the necessary parts. This lack caused endless confusion, loading and unloading of the available bins,, several phones calls and internet searches, and finally a trip back to the store (with all the bins in tow) where the problem was clarified. A salesman simply pulled the missing shelves off a floor model and gave them to me. The whole thing was rather stressful. Mistakes happen, but when they do, I think I deserve an apology. I never got one. On the way out of the store I turned to the salesman and said that I thought Friedman’s should do something for us, a gift certificate, a gesture of some kind, something. So far there’s been nothing. This is not the first time a business has screwed up and the male retail rep I’ve dealt with has not apologized. Ultimately, I consider this to be a failure of company culture, but I do find myself wondering if women sales personnel would perhaps be a bit more empathetic and sympathetic. In this case I’ll never know, because Friedman’s doesn’t seem to have a single woman on its sales staff, at least not that I’ve encountered. Friedman’s needs to train its personnel in courtesy more completely than they have.

This is a question for Friedmans not a question about Friedmans. I suggest you call the store.
We do haul away, it is included in the delivery fee.
Friedman's has a policy that includes social distancing, masks, etc. that ALL employees follow 100% of the time. I feel very safe whenever I visit the store.
Give the store a call.
Yes
Unfortunately no.
Call Peter Burstedt at Friedman’s. He will get you set up w/a microwave.
I assume they deliver to Alameda. I know they deliver to Oakland.
