This is a popular spot for high-quality inexpensive dim sum and baked goods. Everything from their pork buns, shumai and egg tarts are all fantastic. There's always a line during peak times so come early if you can. There's limited street parking but it's within walking distance from downtown.

The wait is long, the service sucks, the inside is cramped af but that's not what you care about. You want that suspiciously cheap, questionably made, to go dim sum. It's so cheap that we spent like $20 for 2 and we were STUFFED. It's all pretty good but tbh nothing too special except for the price lol. Ladies behind the counters are rude af and grumble at you but they'll get what you order haha. Food: 6/10 Vibes: 3/10 Service: 2/10 Value: 9/10

Best Dim Sum place in SF. There’s a long waiting line. We waited for 50mins. They make fresh dim sum, so it took more time than any other take-out dim sum places. We had shrimp and chive shrimp dim sum. I personally love chive one more. This place is only available for take-out order. No table inside. There’s a playground nearby in Chinatown that you can sit and eat. It was worth waiting. The staff could’ve been nicer though. Overall, It was good.

First of all, the food is very good - high quality and tasty by our standard. Also, the price is very reasonable - couple of days worth of desert worth only cost 30 dollars. The place is famous for its egg tart and chasu bon. All these said, the owner may always open shop per its business hours. There’s always a line in front of the shop. To me, if the wait time is less than 15min (translating into 6-8 person in front of me), it’s worth a stop. Otherwise, not really. Ps, the egg tart is on the oily but not too sweet side; definitely good.

Verbal order, you can just tell them the number
Just takeout. Its a very small space. But well worth the effort!
Most food type businesses in Chinatown open on major holidays; that is when they are doing their best business, except the Lunar New Year which even better

The menu is in English and numbered. If you go in knowing what you want, you shouldn't have any issues.
Yes, gluten free probably an issue tho. And your dumplings might have shared a steamer or oven with something meaty. There are pinapple buns.. sticky rice.. sesame balls.. chow mein.. etc.
They take cards
Don't think so.. but few high end Chinese restaurants does.. but very rare.. (KG-lounge does..),. But Not moongok bakery..!!::(
