I had a warranty, they came out and washer needed repair parts, ordered and came back 6 times ordered 5 different parts and each time i waited over a month for an appointment. it' been 7 months still my washer does not work. warranty stated if they couldn't fix in three appointments they would replace. Last tech called to tell the management team it needed to be replaced or cashed out. I have not heard a word from anyone concerning this replacement or cash out. Washer is sitting not repaired and not hauled away. in the mean time my warranty expired. I don't feel like buying another warranty in which they breech so causally. Meanwhile we are hauling clothes to the laundromat for 8 months. Machine was purchased at Sears and extended warranty was purchased at Sears.

Turns out this is third party company that sears contracts with to find technicians. I was given a date and time and the day before im sent an email saying they could not find service technician and gave me a new date for three days later. No explanation, If they actually found a technician or they were just giving random dates to search for one. I am not one to check email every day therefore a phone call would have been more proficient.

Because I set up an appointment so they could come and work on dryer, well I waited all day and nobody showed up. So I tried to call to find out what happened. When I checked my work order on line, they changed my appt. To fry he next week without telling me. So i called and cancelled.

It has taken me a month to complete this review because I was thinking I would become less angry, but I haven't. I had 2 appointments where no one showed up or called to let me know what was going on with my appointments. When the "broken" part came in and another appt was made, it was found that there was nothing wrong with my washer at all, it was the hot water valve that was broken in the off position. My washer was out of service for 2 months trying to get someone to show up and having it completed on a Saturday because I work during the week. I finally had to take a day off of work or it would have been another 3 weeks before a Saturday appointment was available. Then to find out there was nothing wrong with my washer, I was shocked and dismayed. At one point I called the customer service line with Sears to make a sooner appointment after the last no show and they said they no longer had Saturday appointments in my area but then the tech that showed up said they still did Saturday appointments. Why would the rep on the phone lie to me?? Then the tech was going to still charge me $2 for the visit after removing the cost of the part that I didn't even need. I wouldn't have needed another appointment if the tech had correctly determined what the problem was in the first place. I have used Sears appliances since I moved out of my parents house in 1986 and I will never buy another Sears product again and will tell everyone when the subject comes up about this ordeal. I work in law enforcement and I give better customer service to criminals than I received from Sears trying to get my washer fixed.

You’ll get the same appointment availability, regardless of whether you book online or call. Booking online is easy, and usually takes less time than calling.
