To me a hidden gem. Lived in NJ my entire life and didn't know they were here. Good veggies and fruit. Nice store , a little pricey, but for quality why not.

This place was so much fun for me and the kids. There are hay rides that take you around the farm and you can see everything. After that ride you get to pick your own pumpkin. The apples are priced by the weight so be aware of how many you'd like (they're delicious btw) will definitely come back here.

1st time going here. Its amazing definitely gonna be going back. I truly recommend taking your family here.
Yes. Pumpkins are included as part of the hayride cost. It's not really "picking pumpkins" though; they just have mini pumpkins sitting in a field (not on the vine) and everyone gets to grab one after the hayride.
No...it's 17.50 online and more in person. So get yours online. It clearly states that on the site. Plus, if you go without a prepaid ticket for a time slot, you may have to wait to get in. The ticket includes a hayride (which is stunning), a pumpkin from the patch per person that paid for a ticket (so free children don't get a pumpkin), mazes (like 4) the walk through of the apple orchard, and a free Wightman Farms reusable bag. Well worth the 17.50. Plus the vendors have a nice variety of food/drink/goodies they sell. Most vendors take card/cash except for 1. And the ticket price, online, is actually 15.00 + 2.50 in fees. So when you think of just 15.00...that's a steal!
the 2021 picking season should be open for strawberry picking within the next two weeks. Please visit our website at www.wightmanfarms.com for updates or please call our Farm Market at 973-425-9819 for up to date information.
They accept cards for entry, at the general store, to pay for picked apples, etc. However some of the smaller snack shops (cider stand, roasted corn, etc) only accept cash.
You can pay most things with credit cards but some vendors only take cash like the roasted corn vendor and the ice cream vendor and the snack vendor. But the other stuff they take cards.
Yes 20 in person and 25 online. Children under 3 are free. Ticket get you a free bag and a free pumpkin.
Only things you paid for inside is food and apples (if you do the apple picking)
Apple picking doesn't start for my farms until August. Def give them a call. I've never heard April for Apple picking. For most place September to late October is best.
Apple will be September to mid-October depending on the variety. Usually it's best to go around the 3rd week of Sep.
Peaches, late July through August.
I would call the location. They have a large property and they have a barn. But this is high demand season for them so i am not sure if they would stop the show for an event.
It changes each year so we don't usually have a very set schedule but as of this year apples are available Sept-end of October (though its possible that with this warm weather it could go a bit longer).
There a few different packages all written out on our website! A $7, $16 and a $20. On thursday and friday 12-5pm we have a la carte and you can pay for each activity separately. Theres more info here- http://wightmanfarms.com/farm-activities.html
