Had a fun time with the family trying to figure out all the different illusions. Staff was very helpful and willing to take our pictures

Great for a single visit, lots of fun optical illusions. Description cards largely leave something to be desired and many effevts arent really explained. Oriented towards helping you take pictures, but staff are also circulating to make sure that you can. About an hour of relatively stretched activity, hour and a half if you really ham it up and do every single thing.

I read a lot of reviews of this place before we went. I've come to the conclusion that whether or not you're going to enjoy it depends *entirely* on your attitude. There were people there, while we were there, not enjoying themselves at all. WE had a blast. My daughter (8) was so excited for days leading up to it. She is obsessed with illusions and knew how many of them worked already from watching YouTube but that just makes her love them MORE. The staff was friendly & helpful. I think there were only 2 people working and they still managed to pop out of random places & offer to take family group pictures of the 3 of us. And not just one and done pictures; they helped arrange us to make the best use of the illusion, let us switch places, etc. Our favorite part was probably the Ames Room bc seeing one on TV is one thing but seeing it with your own eyes is bonkers. My husband wasn't a fan of the True Mirror (a mirror that doesn't show a reflection but shows you how you actually look) while my child was unfazed by it bc she spends very little time looking in mirrors. It is a small museum but that's kinda nice bc you don't have to do everything in order and you can go back and do things again. It's not a lot of walking and I don't think your eyes or sense of depth perception would want to be there too long anyway. I got 2 adults and 1 child tickets for $32 on Groupon maybe that's expensive? I don't know. It's probably on par with seeing a movie and we were interacting with each other and laughing and learning and moving. I don't think it was too expensive. Most things don't engage my kid that well & I'm pretty sure it was just the right amount of stuff to do as well. Kinda wish there had been some hand-sanitizer in there somewhere but I really should have had some in my purse. TLDR; Totally worth it if you don't go in already resentful about the ticket price, value experiences, and are naturally curious; a glass-half-full person, if you will.

What an awesome little museum. We had about an hour to kill between lunch and our next adventure, so we stopped in here. It is a little expensive, but it's really cool! The kids, 9-25, had a blast!

No
Yes, the museum is open this month. The hours are 10 am to 6:45 pm, Sunday - Saturday.
Hi Sadie, The museum isn’t open yet. We’re planning to open on June 10th. See you soon!
The Museum is currently open. We are limiting the flow to no more than 10 people at the time and following all cleaning and hygiene procedures to ensure the safety of our visitors and employees.
There's no time limit. We spent around 2 hours there both times we've been.
You go down the stairs next to the Post office. Once at the bottom walk a straight past the Escape room. You will see it on your left.
