Great meat counter, but be prepared to take a number and wait. The restaurant is great as well.. I've never had a bad meal from here. The staff in both the taqueria and the grocery store are friendly and helpful, despite being very busy a lot of the time. It's a great neighborhood store for grabbing a few things on the way home. My only complaint is that it is ALWAYS crowded...sometimes to the extreme...which can be irritating, although the checkouts do a really good job of keeping the line moving pretty fast and most patrons deal with it well and are quite polite...even to a non-mexican such as myself..lol.. The whole place is a great example of doing the maximum with a limited space, but truthfully it really does seem to me they have outgrown this building and the crowded conditions are sometimes stressful if you want to shop in a more leisurely way. One other minor complaint is that the place is OFTEN the cause of vehicle traffic slowing way down in front of the building because of the non-stop flow of people coming in and out and crossing the road etc. Overall, the people who operate this place have done a great job with what they have to work with.. The house made "chilena" salsa is addictive too..lol

Great meat counter and produce section. Large candy selection and lots of pinatas and balloons 🎈!! Highlight was the mango chili fruitbars in the case next to the center checkout aisle. Parking is across the street and is for patrons only!
