Will never ever go there again. Sat there for 4 hours in pain and they kept taking people back that arrived after me and when I finally asked when I was going to go back, all the lady at the desk could say was, if no one with anything more serious then you comes in, you'll be back soon. And still sat there for another hour and watched all these other people go back. Finally got frustrated and left. Here I thought this was one of the better places to be seen. Traveled across town just to go there. What a waste of time. Horrible horrible experience

If I could give a 0 I would they changed the name of the hospital but still have the worst staff the nurse literally told me to get up while I was vomiting continuously then said I was moving too slow she was going to get another patient since I was taking my time I ended up being in the er the whole day being diagnosed with a bad UTI And COVID !! I hate this hospital and it’s my only option… do better Truman people are sick and compassion should come with the service !!!

Truman medical center used to be one of the better hospitals here in the Kansas City area since my friend has been in the hospital I just turned everything around people never answer your questions doctors never come when you ask them you never get anything that you ever want in the run over ask you what kind of food that you eat in in the hospital she has for the past week and the only thing that she’s been able to eat and they haven’t ever ask her is putting in water but she says that’s better than nothing she’s in room Red346 that one would be nice if people could come up and tell the family what’s going on with her and what they intend to do but I guess that’s not an option that works for the trim anymore pretty sad isn’t. Be nice if you asked a question and they actually come and answered it within five hours and I’ll give. U the run around

Their ER was top notch! After I went to two different ERs with little to no help, Truman Medical Center really stepped up! They ran labs, did a CT scan, got me on IV antibiotics, fluids, and steroids. Even had the oral surgeon come talk to me. They were able to treat me and calm my fears about my swelling and pain. The nurses were so nice, and the one that did my IV was the quickest and most accurate poke ever, I hate needles and she made the experience not so bad, and was the sweetest person. My other nurse was great about meeting my needs and checking on me. They made sure I was comfortable with a blanket, ice pack, lights off when I needed, and everything. If I had a request or question they got an answer for me quickly and even provided me crackers to take my antibiotics. I had to be there 8 hours and as far as a hospital visit goes it was a great one. From the moment I met the receptionist till the last time I talked to the doctor and nurses, I knew I was in capable hands. I also got to watch a Harry Potter marathon on the TV so that helped the 8 hours of treatment 😉 Hopefully I don't need your services again but if I do, you will be the only ER I go to. Thank you for your hardwork and taking such great care of me. Even your security was really kind and helped answer questions. Good good people here.
