If you own a Country Financial home policy you will not need to buy coverage for vacant land. We will extend coverage to any vacant land for no charge. This extension will last until a building is put on the land. We can also lower the cost of rental coverage by extending liability to your rental dwellings for a small fee on your main home.
Bundling is the best way, then full pay/ auto pay, with younger drivers having good grades helps a lot (we also have a 15 minute class for young drivers about not texting and driving), and keeping your driving record fairly clean. We also offer teachers, firefighters and police officers a discount!
Your best covered car does extend to rental cars, but they may still charge you loss of use while it is being repaired. It only extends to like kind cars so things like Uhauls, 4-wheelers, and snowmobiles do not receive coverage!
No, specifically anything with a serial number or vin number such as a boat, vehicle, trailer will be excluded as personal property and will need its own coverage to be covered for theft, fire or vandalism. Other items like cash, guns and jewelry also have limitations. We would be happy to go over specifics in person or over the phone.
Country Financial will write Manufactured Homes 15 years old or newer inside their preferred home category. Manufactured homes ages 16 to 18 years can be approved on our preferred line if the roof has been replaced and the home is in good condition. Beyond that we have a partnership with American Modern and Foremost who specialize in manufactured homes and can write policies for homes of any age.
Country Financial auto policies do not cover beyond the borders of the U.S with the exception of Canada. In order for this to work, Country Financial can prepare a temporary Canadian insurance card as a complementary service. The policy does not cover any other country and if you are traveling anywhere besides Canada you should look for insurance in that country.
Yes, Washington State passed a law a few years back that requires street legal motorcycles to be covered with liability.
