The place is run by women at their thirties and not with the best of competence. The black out closed the place for 3 days last week and we hear the food quality was questionable. We heard some of the crew got Covid 19 in the kitchen and in the front of the house. Not a safe place at all to eat and dine. Overpriced menu at $125 per person and not having even a steak on it. They push extra items for up charge like Filet and Rib eye. Wine selection is ok but limited. The bar drinks are overpriced when we asked for special brand whiskey and not that great also. Some of the staff members are stinky and the low ceilings and hardly any ventilation kept the odor even longer. We heard crashing bottles sounds from the kitchen and loud talking voices. The hotel rooms prices are not cheap either from $300 to $1400, especially when only three of them have refrigerators. The waiter was very enthusiastic about the history of the place but who wants to hear about the surgeon table converted to a bar after the Civil War. There are ghosts also disturbing the guests after everything gets quiet and dark. So, prepare for $450 dinner for two and room cost up to $1400 with ghosts walking around. They are pushing Middleburg wines for pairing at cost $56. We do not recommend that place and we will give it 2 star rating.

We used to enjoy fine dining at the Red Fox but won't be returning again until they change their "four course menu." Who wants to leave a restaurant feeling stuffed and forced to pay for appetizers and desserts that you definitely don't want to eat/pay for? Not us. Let's us know when your policy changes and we'll be sure to return.

We did the 4 course meal which was mostly ok. I added the waygu steak and was extremely dissapointed. The steak was not as good as a steak you could get at firebirds or other chain restaurant. Everything else was ok but not deserving of the price tag. Service was 5 star, and saved the experience.

We are very regular dining clients at the Tavern. We were unable to sit outside due to weather. Inside we sat at a horrible, drafty table, while tables in front of fireplaces sat empty. The food was very salty, over cooked. 4 courses, I only ate a few bites of each. There is nothing healthy in the menu. Our bill over $700 for horrible food and table No complaints on service. Our server was polite and nice.

You can absolutely expect them to be open. As Jill said I would call in a reservation for a party that size. Ask for Brad to be your server, you wont regret it.
The entrance and first floor restaurant appears to be. However, I can not comment on if the restrooms are ADA.

It would be fabulous if they did!
Jimmy Hoffa wasn't at the red fox inn. Kennedy was. R ELee was. Mosby was Washington Reagan was ....But not Hoffa 🙄
The Red Fox is open during weekdays for breakfast from 8:00AM - 10:00AM. Breakfast is available only to overnight guests on the weekends, though their brunch is open to the public (10:30AMA - 12:30PM, I believe).
Not sure but the place is awesome. Go to Oyster Bar across the street for happy hour
Received a flyer showing a5 course dinner for around$165
