Featuring and array of statement sculptures ranging from odd to downright unsettling, this is a must see stop in anyone’s itinerary for the Joshua Tree area. Go early in the day if you can (it’s unsheltered open desert), and take your time to see the detail of each otherworldly piece. And make sure to grab the brochure and learn something about this groundbreaking artist. If you can, leave a few bucks for the foundation that maintains the space and the legacy of his works.

Such a unique donation-based museum. Love that you can walk around the sculptures. Noah's life and experiences are clearly reflected in some of the pieces. As he lived and worked on the land, it feels like he's just inside the trailer, waiting to come out and work on more pieces. I'd definitely recommend this place!

What a great , unique place to explore . It’s the gift that keeps on giving as the talented artist continues to add to the exhibit. Parking is plenty, right in front of the museum. Please make sure that the weather is not too hot or too Cold. There isn’t much shade, or places to sit and relax. Please take money to donate. Also, if u take things with you, make sure you take it back and don’t trash the place. Totally recommended. Enjoy

🗿🗽🏜Donate if you enjoy this place please 🙏 Pretty interesting "outdoor art museum of assemblage sculpture" and really interesting back story and connections to the 1965 Watts rebellion. My favorite piece was No Contest and be sure to walk all the way back to San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. Enjoy my art friends.
