Loved it . Food quality and quantity is great. Service is great. It's just too dark inside and evening can be super loud sometimes. I prefer to eat in not so noisy environment. But overall it's great. We went there twice Ina week..lol.

Iron Age continues to give solid Korean BBQ no matter which of their locations you go to. This experience was fantastic and the food was just as good. The wait at 5:45pm was about 15 minutes. We got on a waitlist and they texted us when our table was ready. NOTE: they have a 90 minute time limit for eating. As soon as we got seated, the banchan (side dishes) were already laid out on the table. This included kimchi, pickled radish, radish wraps, and a sweet radish. You also get 4 sauces - a sweet sauce, a spicy sambal, a spicy Mayo/shrimp sauce, and a salt and sesame oil sauce. They were all such good sauces to pair with any of the meats we had. We ordered japchae (noodles) and white rice to go with the meal. This is included. Unfortunately their spicy rice cakes are discontinued. The price is $22 for lunch, $29 for dinner - both very reasonable. The best part is staff regularly come by and help cook your food for you so you don’t burn it! They also regularly change out your grills if it starts getting too charred. The meat quality is excellent. We started with beef brisket and pork belly. The brisket was so tender and juicy and flavorful. The pork belly was super fatty. Both melted in your mouth immediately. We then went on to the garlic pork and lemon chicken. I shouldn’t have doubted the pork, which I thought would be dry. It wasn’t. It was so juicy and had a super strong garlic flavor. The lemon chicken was again surprisingly moist and super flavorful. This was my first time ordering chicken at a KBBQ restaurant, so I was impressed. We then went on to beef bulgogi. This may have been my least favorite of all the meats solely because this beef was pretty tough and chewy. Definitely not easy to eat like the others. Great flavor though. Finally, we had to go back to the brisket. That was my favorite and I wanted to end on my favorite again. Overall such a great experience and I’ll come back for sure. Hi

Food was good. Service was good. The 1.5 hour time limit was only enough for us to eat, we barely had time to talk/enjoy each other's company. Is this what the owners want?!

Simply put this place is the Pinnacle of both quality food and quantity all for a semi-reasonable price. You have a wide variety of meat and some seafood as well and it comes with some traditional Korean sides, and everything there tastes absolutely delicious. The experience alone is quite fun but to add the fact that you're enjoying quality meats that have been prepared expertly by the butchers makes for a memorable experience. You can go for an anniversary but you can also go just for something casual, but it's also important to know that this place has an hour and a half time limit. It is all you can eat for that time though so make sure you come hungry and you come ready because you get to eat a lot of good quality food. I love this place, and the servers are always amazing.

Yes though ive heard they're trying to institute a 2 hour time limit for groups of 8 or larger. As some other posters said it's two menus, the only difference being the $25 menu has many cuts of beef and octopus
Sure you can get chicken, but why? Korean BBQ is known as good bbq pork, but more importantly good BBQ Beef. Would you go to a Chinese restaurant and order hot dogs?
They get BUSY!! We reserved a spot and got there and still had to wait outside in the cold for at least 15 min (which wasnt too bad). Definitely try reserve a spot again, they're worth the wait.
They are open with inside dining, 50% capacity. They take your temperature at the door, you have to wear a mask when not at the table, and you will have to cook your own meat.
Only for certain menu items
You might wanna call. I am sure they are open but call.
The regal is the closest one to iron age- both montgomery mall and Ipic are in North Bethesda
Inside only...they don't do takeout and you only get a maximum of 1 hour and a half to eat and then leave to keep risk low
Yes. I went to lunch there 3 weeks ago while I was getting my car serviced. Inside seating, 2 hour time limit and no assistance with cooking.
They were open 3 weeks ago when I had lunch there.
They were open 3 weeks ago.
They are closed for now.
20 or 25 depends on which menu you select from. Menu is chosen as a table, meaning one person at the same table can't choose a menu and the other b menu. All you can eat is all day. Open-Close
Yes but minimum 8 people
You can walk in but it gets busy. They don't take reservations for smaller parties.
1. Salt and (olive?) oil 2. Teriyaki 3. Spicy (sriracha?) 4. And they recently changed their Miso sauce to Yum Yum sauce
Just meat. They may have some other vegetarian option, but I've never seen anything in the menu. Other than the kimchi and other vegetarian stuff they have as sides, i don't think they have anything vegetarian to BBQ
They provide salads complimentary with your meal but they don’t have a salad bar.
