I initially was trying to find the waterfall but Google sent me here. I enjoyed the trails and scenery. It's very lovely. Make sure you wear long socks

This parking lot is small, so you may want to keep alternative locations in mind. Recently flood damage has blocked some trails, so be mindful of your that in your planning. Bikes are allowed.

Small parking lot with a portable rest room. Red trail is a bit difficult and muddy. Various forks, easy to lose your way. This trail follows a small reservoir, with some good fishing spots. The white trail is much easier, hugs the road at spots. Beware of snakes and ticks.

Cool park with a trail that leads to a little body of water. I'm sure it pretty big but we only did a little hike. We saw a little brown snake, and a few large birds. It was a bit muddy so watch out.

Questions & Answers

Is it safe to take kids for the hike? Eg will my three year old nephew and niece be able to hike with help? Any minimum age?

The trails in this park are easy to hike. I think kids 6 and older will have no issues. There is little elevation, and the trails can be rocky, or muddy, being the only problems. The trails around the reservoir are the most scenic.
