First time visit since moving to Maryland ... was fantastic offered on line staff was friendly and actually greeted me and pizza was still hot when I got home plus they got the order correct ... including don't cut the pie ... travels easier and helps keep it hot ...

I enjoyed my experience from papa john's, the service was accurate to there online eta and the menu ordering process was sufficient and accessible. I slight denigration, I noticed some other pizza tracker like Dominos tracks you order in real time along with the delivery driver. Papa johns informs you of the creation process but not real time delivery, they have a substitute by calling and having a automated operator inform you of there delivery time but as far as I could see, that was it. Most of the major pizza company's pizza hut, Dominos, and papa johns all start with an automated operator now, just an observation. I haven't ordered pizza frequently in a while. I will relate my experience with the pizzas now starting with the pictures left to right. The first pizza is the bbq chicken hawaiian pizza, it tasted good or okay but not without it's caveats. The pizza seems to have sufficient sause, which was suppose to be extra, from what I could see was met but the cheese was not measured properly hence the abundant of spots not covered by cheese. The topping amount for the type seems to be correct, but the quantity is not and in order to fill surface space on the pizza they ripped the chicken to fill excess space, to save ingredients I guess. My next issue is only of concern to the people who think it is an issue of concern, I repeat this next issue is a personal observation, that only concerns some people not all, but I will still divulge it. Unlike Dominos or pizza hut, papa johns makes the effort to place quality seals on there pizza boxes in the form of stickers. The seal on my Hawaiian bbq chicken pizza was either undone or wasn't place correctly, don't have the evidence to say it was tampered. When I opened the box the only thing I could see that was out of the ordinary was the third garlic dipping sause was opened and spilled all over the side of the box, represented by the picture bellow. I thought to myself whether this is a risk or concern I should be worried about, I weighted my anxiety with the fact that I was fully vaccinated with a third jab, and I've only ever suffered a persistent cough, I would not place this same stipulation on everybody. I leave my observation to you good sir or ma'am. Now moving on my second pizza is a stuffed crust with extra pizza sause with chicken and bacon, as seen with the pictures below along with the sticker on the box. I noticed that since the dough is pulled over the cheese to make the crust, this cause the center and middle to be thinner. It's almost as thin as there nyc style pizza, you could say the center to the crust is there nyc style pizza and the crust is a stuffed cheese bread, make of that as you will. The sause was probably the correct amount I don't know for sure because I don't know there measurements for a 2 topping large but in my humble opinion it doesn't seem sufficient. The topping suffer the same problem with noticeable ripping and tearing with the chicken and bacon to fill space. I slight degression, I know for a fact dominos doesn't rip there chicken but they seem to shred there bacon, so almost equally guilty. The brownie was standard, lacking in sweetness in my opinion. I will also add papa johns doesn't charge for garlic sause one per pizza box at least and includes a pepper per box. Additional information, my order was delivery online, for dinner around 17:00-18:00, the cost I spent was $50.84 that includes a $5 tip to the driver. From the time order was confirmed to front door delivery is 51 minutes from a delivery eta of 50-69 minutes, distance from store is 1.1 miles or a 10 minute walk. Additional disclaimer I used to work in a pizza place. I would say my rating would be around 2.5 stars at least, and 3.5 stars at most from a personal rubric measurement. 🖖🤓

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I have been ordering pizza from here for awhile and everything was great. Today not so much. So first we waited about 2 hours for our food. No problem it was raining. When the delivery driver finally got here, he then told me he couldn’t accept a $50 even though my order was $30 and we were leaving a $10 tip. He said he had change for it but couldn’t do it. Then I called the store to see why as that was the only money I had on me, and the girl who answered told me I should have called to get approval from the manager. Why should I as a PAYING CUSTOMER have to call the store to speak to the manger about accepting my payment. The driver should have did that. Also it says nothing about them not accepts $50 bills on the website. We will not be going back!
