A great place for Italian food, especially on the way home from Mt. SAC. Gotta thank my boyfriend (Italian/Sicilian) for finding this gem because my sis is really picky about her Italian food (We're Taiwanese too xD), and this place really agrees with her. She always gets the family lasagna (And eats it all herself too!!!) while I love their sausage and meatball sandwich. Really worth the money!!! <3

Even though you order at the counter many things are brought to the table. We wanted some real food and got lasagna and salad. As usual, it was so good. And, if you order family style you save $1.50 that I used on a cold one 😉😉.

Stopped by for lunch, had the corned beef sandwich special. Good > generous portion of meat, good rye bread, 2 pickle spears Bad > coleslaw was sour, replaced with potato salad which was good Will come back.

We had 3 of their Large Cold Turkey Pastrami Sandwiches, with 1 pound of the red potatoe salad, and 1 quart of the chocolate milk. The line was really long when I arrived but that was not a problem. It was well worth the wait! The staff was hustling! They cut our Large subs in half for us and wrapped them up individually. They also wrapped up the chocolate milk and put it alongside the sandwiches and red potatoe salad in a large brown bag for me. What excellent service!! The sandwiches are so delicious and huge. We will have half of the sandwich for lunch and the other half for dinner. Thank you so much Capri Deli!! 🥖😋
