Really nice place many options for dish burgers sea foods coffee and pancakes etc..it's really good and friendly staff always smiling. Reasonable price and interesting place you're sitting on the water. Not so busy. I strongly recommended.

The fish and chips is the best I've had in San Diego so far. Portions are huge. The fresh cut fries are fantastic, and the fish batter is like a hushpuppy, it's delicious

Pros: They serve large portions Fish & chips came with 3 large pieces of fish, very tasty, a ton of fries and freshly made cole slaw. It was really good! Captains platter also enough for 2 , came with 2 kinds of fish, shrimp, coleslaw, a ton of fries, and a jalapeno bomber. Very tasty also. Cons: clam chowder was awful! All of our food was served on paper plates. O.k. for the fish & chips but not o.k. for the clam chowder, which was served in a paper fry basket! They do make paper bowls ya know. Menu describes it as a bowl of clam chowder. Nothing bowl about it. It was served on a piece of toast and garnished with cheese! You can tell the chef hasn't been to cooking school! Cheese is not a proper garnish for clam chowder! Ive never had it served over toast. It was terrible. The plastic serving dish and cheese not to mention the toast, made it the worst thing on the menu. It didn't taste bad, just looked awful. Note to cook: garnish clam chowder with little chopped parsley and serve it with oyster crackers. Also, terrible terrible waitress service. There were tons of empty tables. We waited 20 mins to be seated. Waitress was spending a lot of time in the kitchen. Lots of people walked out. And she didn't know the menu at all. I had to remind her of what my meal came with! But our food did taste good, large portions and pleasant dining atmosphere on the pier was a plus. Eating here once is enough!

We shared the fish and chips and Clam Chowder bread bowl, both ended being the best we had ever had! As you can see by the picture, there are 3 pieces of fish that was hand battered before they were served on a bed of freshly cut frys! The side of coleslaw was delicious and had a little sweet taste to it. Also served with the meal was 1 lemon wedge and tarter sauce for the fish. The Clam Chowder bread bowl was amazing! the soup is made on-site, the bread is sourdough and was fresh.... very soft to chew also topped with the right amount of cheese! We will definitely be back!

Sorry
Its ok but closed. because the pier is closed and being repaired till memorial day they say..
Nope. Just breakfast time.
Actually it's Langostino Lobster. A comparison between Chilean Langostino Lobster Meat and Maine Lobster Meat. Chilean Langostino Lobster Meat is a excellent quality less expensive alternative to Maine Lobster Meat for recipes requiring lobster meat. Many restaurants use Langostino as a substitute for Lobster. Another name it is known as is " Squat Lobster". This is approved by the FDA although i believe you must qualify you are using Langostino in your food, not Traditional Lobster that your used to seeing. Taste and texture is about the same. Regardless, i think the food on the Pier is great and a good value. As long as they are not frying up Alpo im good.
