Our family had an absolute blast at Forest Home. It’s a wonderful place to reconnect with God and family. They strike the perfect balance of spiritual encouragement and fun. Also a plus for families is that they offer childcare assistants so Mom and Dad can enjoy adult time. I highly recommend it!

I went to Forest home for about 6 years. I have never loved a place more in my life. At Forest Home, I made life long friendships, explored a beautiful land, had amazing memories, and most importantly discovered God. Our family was surprised by how amazing our first family camp experience was. We thought it would be a fun week away but we were blown away, and ended up returning for a second year. The fellowship with other families, worship and teaching, outdoor activities, and food were all exceptional. The balance between leisure time and structured time was nice. The feeling of being “away from it all” but being only a short drive from the major freeways was convenient. But the best part, and what really seems to set Forest Home family camp apart is the CCA (childcare assistant) program, which was such a huge blessing to our family. We got to basically have date nights every night and enjoy solid teaching while our kids enjoyed time with the young lady who was assigned to our family for the week. The CCAs are well-trained to handle challenges (and when to call in for backup like when my son got an altitude-induced bloody nose) and we’ll prepared to have fun with the kids. They also made an effort to connect more with our families during free time and generally make the kids feel special. Also, the milkshakes and fries are delicious and the water slide is super fun! 😊

Honestly it is not handicap friendly. That doesn't mean the staff won't do everything they can to make the experience memorable though.
We have a little bit now but had a lot in February. It is possible that there will be more in March.
They do have some scholarships for Forest Home-run events
Definitely worth going! Professional staff, being surrounded by God's beautiful nature makes you feel deeply concerned to God. For the first time I saw the snow fall in Forest falls home camp it was an amazing experience. The cabins very comfortable. Good food. Very clean areas..

As of this afternoon, chain control was in place on highway 38 below the turnoff to Forest Home. So yes, recommend chains are at least in the car with you.

My high schoolers went to camp, turned off their data, and used the phones for pics only. I made sure the cabin leader was aware and they all knew they were to be taken away if used for anything else.
Yes there is, but it is not free. It is in the same building as Pines Lodge
They should be fine not calling. After 5 trips I can say the selection of staff is amazing and I as a parent I have a lot of confidence in them. I would see if one call near the end of camp can be arranged but it my take 2-3 days for all to settle in.

Check out the camp for married couples, it's totally worth it.
